" A Beautiful Poem To Touch The Heart" ... Author Unknown
A meeting was held quite far from earth. It's time again for another birth. Said the angles, to the Lord above.
This special child will need much love. His progress may seem very slow. And he'll require, special care from
The mum he meets down there. He may not laugh, or run or play. His thoughts may seem quite far away.
In many ways he won't adapt. And he'll be known as "handicapped". So lets be careful who we choose
Please Lord, find the mother who. Will do this special job for you. She will not realise right away
The leading role she is asked to play. But with this child sent from above. Comes stronger faith and richer love.
And soon she'll know the privilage given. In caring for her gift from heaven. Her precious charge, so meek and mild
Is heavens very "Special Child".

~ Blessings Come ~ by Helen Steiner Rice
When troubles come and things go wrong. And days are cheerless and nights are long.
We find it so easy to give in to despair. By magnifying the burdens we bear~ We add to our worries by refusing to try
To look for "the rainbow" in an overcast sky~ And the blessing God sent in a "darken disguise"
Our troubled hearts fail to recognize. Not knowing God sent it not to distress us
But to strengthen our faith and redeem us and bless us.
